The company Lycos-Trnavské sladovne s.r.o. (Trnava Malt House) belongs to the most important malt producer in Slovakia. At present we produce the malt of Pilsen type on three production lines of the company - (Malting Floors, Moving Mass and Lausmann) with a total capacity of approximately 40,000 MT annually.

Mainly the Lausmann line is a production plant of the latest technology, fully computer controlled and air-conditioned. This allows to produce malt of the highest quality under exact specified conditions of germination during the whole year, regardless external weather conditions.

In order to improve the quality of malt we implemented the quality management system in the year 2002 according to standards ISO 9001:2000 and subsequently we obtained the certificate of approval from the company Bureau Veritas Quality International.



We reach a high quality of malt mainly by the investments to the technical equipment of individual parts of malting house, by constant improvement of laboratory facilities using the latest analytical equipment, by a long-term increase of qualifications of our employees and by the strict observation of the quality management system. The technology of malt production is constantly consulted with well-known specialists from the Research Malting Institute in Brno, the Czech Republic.

More than 90% of our production is exported to demanding markets of the whole Europe. Our customers are independent breweries and multinational holding companies as well, mainly from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russian and other countries of the world.
